Romanians pay tax worth 22.5% of the car’s net price

If you think the auto taxes in Romania are very high you should know that Romania ranks 10^th among the 27 European countries according to the smallest tax value paid at the acquisition of an automobile, with 22.5% tax of the car’s net price (for a Euro 4 engine, 2.000 cc).

How Romanians commit suicide

Almost a quarter of the violent death that took place in our country were suicides. 2594 Romanians ended their life in the past year, according to Legal Medicine National Institute data. Therefore suicides count for 22.7% of the violent death total, while only 4.89% are homicides.
