European countries where most warehouse spaces are located in logistics parks
and where this market is mature, Romania has only begun its development. Due to its
strategic position, Romania offers a lot of potential on the logistics market,
a fact pointed out by the graph below:

As logistics space market development depends largely on infrastructure and the Romanian infrastructure is very poorly developed, authorities have announced high budgets to support infrastructure projects.
Indeed the number of infrastructure projects has grown significantly over the last months. Only in January 2009 the IBC Focus Investment Report included 559 verified infrastructure projects, almost 5 times higher than the same month of the previous year. And IBC focus consultants forecast that infrastructure will be the star of the Romanian construction market in 2009.
